Becherovka - Czech herbal liqueur, which was established as a cure for stomach diseases Carlsbad pharmacist Josef Becher in 1807. Thus, the ingredients:
- 1 liter of domestic high-quality moonshine;
- 150 grams of sugar;
- 250 grams of clean drinking water (not tap water!);
- 1 teaspoon orange zest;
- 2 cardamom seeds;
- 10 kidney cloves;
- 8 peas black pepper;
- Half a teaspoon of anise;
- 1 cinnamon stick.
Grind orange zest, crushed cardamom seeds and cinnamon, add the cloves, black pepper, anise and pour moonshine still and mix. The resulting mixture in a tightly closed, at room temperature, insist week. Then make sugar syrup: over low heat to dissolve the sugar, not boiling. The syrup is cooled and mixed with existing infusion. Again, all tightly closed, and insist another 4 days. Before use, filter out all the seasonings and spices.
